Sylvia MacCalla of Livin Out Loud lends her singing and comedic talents to a "Blues/Comedy" routine which aired this evening on Comedy Central's "Mind of Mencia".

Livin Out Loud was given great praise for their performance at the 34 Annual Jackson Awards.

In the interview on WKXI with Lady Vee, Tuesday (July 15th), she said the performance at the Award Show sounded just like the record.

The group also introduced an accepella of their next single "I Can't Stop"

Sylvia MacCalla and the rest of the ensemble cast of Ray Charles Live! A New Musical," won the NAACP Theatre Award for ensemble cast for an Equity production at the 18th Annual NAACP Theatre Awards held Monday at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.

The Pasadena Playhouse production of the controversial Ray Charles musical won four awards: ensemble cast for an Equity production, musical director (Rahn Coleman), playwright (Suzan-Lori Parks) and sound (Carl Casella).

Sylvia and Reuben enjoyed a walk down the Red Carpet for the event. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Livin Out Loud is Performing Their Most Added Single, “Lately”

(Los Angeles) Monday, June 30, 2008 – British Crossover R&B Group Livin Out Loud is making a special appearance at the 34th Annual Jackson Music Awards hosted by AT&T Mercedes Benz of Jackson. Fresh from the multiple adds on Radio & Records Charts, Livin Out Loud will be spreading their love of music by performing their soothing single “Lately”.
